After ten years with various consulting companies, and working on his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Environmental Sciences from the University of Alberta, Mr. Dent decided to start his own company, Dent Consulting Services Ltd., offering the following service lines:

Hazardous Materials (Asbestos, Lead, PCB’s…etc.) – Dent Consulting Services Ltd. can provide complete services for the development and implementation of strategies relating to hazardous materials, including Hazardous Materials Assessments (Asbestos, Lead, PCB, Mercury - sampling and quantification), Hazardous Materials Management Plans and Hazardous Material Removal Management (i.e.. asbestos air monitoring and assessments);

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) – Dent Consulting Services Ltd. offers a complete range of IAQ services, from initial assessments to complete evaluation programs – or emergency response to any situation. We can develop practical, cost effective solutions for your IAQ problems, including MSDS Review (WHMIS), general IAQ parameter monitoring (carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, temperature, relative humidity and airborne mould), work site assessment and review of site processes and work procedures;

Industrial Hygiene (Noise, Chemical Exposure….etc.) – Dent Consulting Services Ltd. is skilled in toxicology, noise assessments and occupational exposure monitoring. We can provide short term walk-through assessments, work day surveys, long term monitoring, as well as testing and evaluation of personal protective equipment (PPE);

Health & Safety Services (Codes of Practice, Training, Hazard Assessments…etc.) – Dent Consulting Services Ltd. has provided training in the areas of personal protective equipment, and hazard assessments.
